History

PetroStrat Ltd. formed during 2001 when Paul Cornick and Dave Rutledge joined forces to set up a new biostratigraphic consultancy. The Company acquired office premises in Tyldesley House, Llandudno during 2002.

PetroStrat expanded significantly during 2005, with the addition of 2 more Directors (John Gregory and Mark Weldon), several very experienced Senior Stratigraphers and support staff. The company continued to grow during 2006-2007 and now comprises one of the larger biostratigraphic consultancies, with 12 biostratigraphers and 5 support staff. In 2007, PetroStrat moved to purpose-built premises in Conwy, North Wales. These include an on-site sample processing Laboratory which enables our stratigraphers to closely monitor sample preparation and also facilitates rapid-turnaround/'hot-shot' analyses.

Our regular clientele includes quality conscious major oil companies.
